Technical Specifications & Print Settings
To ensure a functional and safe assembly, please adhere to the following requirements:
Printer Accuracy: Minimum ±0.1mm. This model relies on precise mechanical fits. If your printer is not calibrated, we recommend adjusting your Horizontal Expansion (Cura) or XY Size Compensation (PrusaSlicer).
Material: * PLA/PLA+: Best for dimensional accuracy and stiffness.
PETG: Recommended for heavy-duty tools or humid environments.
Infill: 25%–40% (Gyroid or Cubic recommended for omnidirectional strength).
Layer Height: 0.2mm (0.1mm for the interlocking joints if you want a “premium” fit).
Assembly Instructions
Print & Inspect: Ensure all mating surfaces are clean of “elephant’s foot” or stringing.
Test Fit: Before full assembly, test the interlocking dovetails/tabs. If too tight, a light sanding may be required due to the high-accuracy design.
Why 3D Print Your French Cleat System?
Unlike wood, which can warp or split, this 3D-printed system allows for integrated tool-specific geometries (like bit holders, caliper mounts, and plier racks) to be built directly into the cleat hook. It’s cleaner, faster to iterate, and 100% customizable to your tool collection.
Important Information about the Sets of Parts

Complete Assembly Parts Splits includes the following parts: Back Plate Split, Side Holder, Tool Table Split and Drill Holder Split. (you can see all components if you click on the image below the text “Click on the image(s) below to choose a different product.”)
For the assembly files you will have/receive two files. After downloading please put them in one folder and then unzip them. You will receive two rar files – one of them is a self extracting archive. Just click on it and it will unrar both .rar files so you can have the separate parts again in zip folders that you need to unzip to receive the final STLs for 3D printing.
We will update these with additional different tables for different uses so visit it often to check for them.
If you have problems with the STL file or you need other file formats for 3D printing, please let us know so we can help using it with the 3D printer.
Note: Since the file is archive (.zip) and if you decide to download it from the email link some of the browsers can treat it as a dangerous one (especially Chrome). For that reason please right click on the link and then “save link as” option and when the downloading option shows at the bottom of the browser use option “Keep”.
